Retail & POS
Retail and point-of-sale software built for the front counter and the back office
We’ve engineered a multi-branch retail POS ecosystem, an offline-first POS-and-WebShop platform unifying retail, service, and B2B commerce across locations, and a native e-commerce app for the GCC market — real systems ringing up real sales, not concepts. Here’s what we’ve shipped and how we build it.
The problem
Retail software fails at the counter, not in the demo.
Most retailers we’ve worked with weren’t looking for a flashier till — they were trying to stop the small failures that add up. A multi-branch chain of supermarkets, pharmacies, and specialty stores where checkout was slow, inventory was inaccurate, and every branch reconciled its own numbers by hand. A multi-location operation running retail, service, and B2B wholesale on separate systems, where a dropped internet connection meant a stopped sale. A growing e-commerce brand that needed its storefront in customers’ pockets, not just their browsers.
The stakes in retail are immediate and unforgiving. A POS that goes down when the network does costs sales in real time, not next quarter. Inventory that drifts out of sync means stockouts on the shelf and dead capital in the warehouse. Tax and fiscal-receipt rules that vary by region turn every expansion into an administrative headache. And the moment a customer taps to pay, their payment data has to be handled properly.
That’s the brief we keep getting handed, in one form or another: take a fragmented, manual, or fragile retail operation — billing, inventory, purchasing, e-commerce, reporting — and turn it into one platform that runs reliably at the counter and gives head office a single, accurate view.
The engagements look very different from each other — a barcode-driven multi-branch retail platform, a hybrid POS-and-WebShop ecosystem spanning retail and B2B, a native mobile storefront for the GCC market. What they share is the underlying problem: too many disconnected systems and too much manual reconciliation standing between the sale and the people running the business.
What we build
Real capabilities, drawn from real retail builds.
Every category below is something we’ve shipped for a retail or commerce client — not a service we’re speculating about.
Multi-Branch POS
Barcode billing, fast checkout, and centralized control across many stores from one platform — the multi-branch retail ecosystem we engineered for a chain of supermarkets, pharmacies, and specialty stores.
Inventory & Purchasing
Real-time, multi-branch inventory with purchase and vendor management, cutting the manual reconciliation and stock drift that come from running each location on its own numbers.
Offline-First POS
An offline-first POS engine with automatic cloud synchronization, so sales keep ringing through a dropped connection — the approach behind the integrated POS-and-WebShop platform’s zero-downtime selling.
Retail & B2B Commerce
Unified platforms spanning retail POS, service operations, and B2B wholesale — including a hybrid POS-and-WebShop ecosystem with CRM, executive dashboards, and workforce tools in one system.
E-Commerce & Mobile Retail
Native mobile storefronts that integrate with an existing website — product browsing, secure payments, and order tracking, like the iOS e-commerce app we built for BestatShop’s GCC customers.
Tax, Fiscal & Reporting
GST/VAT calculation, QR-coded and fiscal receipts, fiscal-printer integration, and centralized analytics — so multi-region compliance and head-office reporting stop being a manual, branch-by-branch chore.
Flagship product
DreamsPOS — Point of Sale Platform
DreamsPOS is our own point-of-sale platform: inventory management, invoicing, order and store management, and mobile selling in one centralized hub, pairing sales tracking with reporting and business intelligence. If you need something close to this, we can customize, white-label, or integrate DreamsPOS for your retail operation — or build the equivalent from scratch. Either way, you’d be talking to the team that actually built it.

A retail or POS build usually draws on more than one of these, depending on what you’re starting from.
Payments & data
Payments and tax are where retail software has to be careful.
Every retail system we build touches money and regulated data — card payments at checkout, tax and fiscal receipts that vary by region, and customer records behind the storefront. We don’t hold or claim a certification we don’t have, but that posture shows up directly in how we build: card capture is designed around certified payment gateways rather than storing card data ourselves, and secure handling of customer and transaction data is part of the architecture, not an afterthought.
For the multi-branch Jutus POS ecosystem, that meant building GST/VAT compliance and QR-coded invoices into billing so tax rules didn’t slow the counter. For the integrated POS-and-WebShop platform, it meant fiscal and non-fiscal receipt modes, fiscal-printer integration, and an offline-first engine that keeps selling — and syncing — through a lost connection. For BestatShop’s e-commerce app, secure payments were part of the delivered brief across its GCC markets.
We’re not going to tell you we hold a PCI DSS, SOC 2, or ISO certification we don’t have — if your operation needs a specific certified vendor or a certified payment stack, we’ll say so upfront and build with PCI considerations in mind. As a UK company, GDPR is simply how we operate. What we can show you is how each of the platforms above actually handles payments and retail data in production, and let that speak for itself.
