Legacy support pods: named engineers for systems you can’t switch off
A small, named team that knows your system, on a monthly retainer. Incident fixes, batch failures, small changes and patching, with the knowledge written down as we go.
- UK contract with Dreams Technologies Hub Private Limited (VAT registered)
- Engineers delivered from our own Coimbatore office, India
- Shortlist within 5 working days
- Building software since 2013
What a pod covers
- L2 and L3 incident investigation and fixes for C, C++, Pro*C and shell code.
- Batch and scheduler failures (cron, Control-M, Autosys and similar).
- Small enhancements and regulatory changes.
- OS and database client patching, with testing.
- Runbook and code-note upkeep, so the knowledge base grows every month.
- A monthly report: incidents, root causes, changes made and risks we see coming.

How we keep your system safe
Our operating discipline comes from our site reliability work: clear severity levels, written incident reports, root-cause analysis and a monthly review of what keeps breaking. The same approach doubled internal incident detection for one of our SRE clients. Read the case study.
Changes go through your change process. We never make changes in production without an approved ticket, and every change is logged in the runbook.
When to choose a pod instead of a single specialist
Choose a single dedicated specialist when you have your own technical lead and need extra hands. Choose a pod when you need us to own the support outcome, including cover for holidays and illness.
Why teams come to us for scarce skills
Finding thin talent pools is our core skill
Large service firms rarely staff a single Pro*C or HP-UX role quickly. We keep a vetted network of engineers who have these skills and want this work.
Screened by people who have done the work
Our own senior engineers run the technical interview. Candidates are tested on the platform you run, not on general programming.
UK contract, India delivery
You contract with our UK company. The work is delivered from our own office in Coimbatore with working hours that overlap the UK day.
AI-assisted code understanding
Our team works with Claude Code to read, document and test old codebases faster. Every finding is checked by an engineer before it reaches you.
Continuity built in
Every engagement keeps a runbook and code notes from week one, and a second engineer is briefed on your system. Losing one person does not mean losing the knowledge.
We also run the migration
When you are ready to leave the platform, the same team that kept it running plans and delivers the move.
Tell us what you’re running
Send us the stack and the problem. We’ll reply within one working day and, if it’s a staffing request, send a shortlist within five.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What is the minimum term?
Six months for a pod, because the first month is spent learning your system.
Can you provide out-of-hours on-call?
Yes, on the Extended pod or as an add-on. We agree response times and escalation contacts in writing.
How do you take over from the current team?
We shadow them for two to four weeks, write the runbook as we go, and take primary responsibility only when both sides agree we’re ready.
Can the pod later run a migration?
Yes. The pod builds the knowledge any migration needs, which is why many clients start with support and move to a migration project later.
