What we collect, and when

We only collect personal data that you give us, plus limited technical data that is collected automatically when you browse.

When you submit an enquiry form

Our enquiry and demo forms collect your name, email address and the description of your requirement that you write. We use this to respond to you and to scope the work you are asking about.

When you apply for a job

Our careers form collects your name, email address, telephone number, your CV or resume file, and any message you add. We use this only to assess your application. Applications are sent to our recruitment mailboxes at hr@dreamstechnologies.com and careers@dreamstechnologies.com.

When you browse the site

Our analytics and security tools collect technical data including your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit, and how you arrived. This is used to understand how the site is used and to protect it from abuse.

Who else receives your data

We use the following third-party services. Each one is named because it genuinely receives data from this website, and each has its own privacy policy governing what it does with that data.

  • Google Workspace — form submissions are emailed to us through Google’s mail infrastructure.
  • Google Sheets — enquiry form submissions are also recorded in a private Google Sheet so we can track and respond to them.
  • Google reCAPTCHA — used on every form to block automated spam. reCAPTCHA collects device and behavioural signals and is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
  • Google Analytics — website usage measurement.
  • Tawk.to — our live chat widget. If you start a chat, your messages and technical data are processed by Tawk.to.
  • Cloudflare — serves and protects this website, and processes your IP address to do so.
  • WP Engine — our website hosting provider.

If you click our WhatsApp button, your conversation is handled by WhatsApp under its own privacy policy, not ours.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Where your data is processed

We are a UK company with our engineering team in Coimbatore, India. Personal data you send us may therefore be accessed by our staff in India, and some of the services listed above process data in the United States. Where data is transferred outside the UK or the European Economic Area, we rely on the safeguards those providers put in place for international transfers, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep personal data only for as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected for, and then delete it. Enquiry correspondence is kept for as long as we are in contact with you about a project and for a reasonable period afterwards. Job applications are kept for the duration of the recruitment process; if you are not appointed we will delete your application unless you have agreed that we may keep it on file for future roles.

Cookies

This website uses cookies and similar technologies. Some are strictly necessary to make the site work and to keep it secure. Others — notably those set by Google Analytics, Google reCAPTCHA and Tawk.to — support measurement and anti-spam. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings; if you block strictly necessary cookies, parts of the site may not work correctly.

Your rights

Under UK and EU data protection law you have the right to ask us to give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, delete it, restrict how we use it, object to our using it, and receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, email business@dreamstechnologies.com. We will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk, or to the data protection authority in your country.

Security

This site is served over HTTPS and protected by a web application firewall and bot filtering. We restrict access to personal data to the people who need it to do their jobs. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take these obligations seriously and review our measures regularly.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be published on this page with a revised “last updated” date above.
